October 2007 — I've begun to dip a toe into a number of interesting research efforts. They include:

• Jim Hollan's Human-Computer Interaction Lab at UCSD
• Fiona Blamey's Web 2.0 studies in the U.K.
• ACUTA and the ResNet Symposium's Applied Research Group
• Bill Griswold's Campus of the Future Lab at UCSD

At present, I'm studying high-end cell phone use with Louise Barkhuus, Ph.D. at the UCSD department of Computer Science and Engineering.

My interests include studying how social networking tools are used and how advanced interaction tools assist memory.
